Simona advises GroenLinks Member of the European Parliament Kim van Sparrentak on digital policy. MEP Kim van Sparrentak is negotiating the AI Act as shadow rapporteur for the Greens/EFA. As rapporteur, she is currently also writing a report on Addictive Design for the European Parliament. She worked on the Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act and Data Act. Kim also negotiates the Platformwork Directive and the Short-Term Holiday Rental Regulation.
Kim Sparrentak and Simona work specifically on AI, social media and online platforms, online disinformation, algorithmic management at work and the environmental aspects of digitalisation.
