Tanya O'Carroll is an independent advisor, strategist and leader focused on tech policy and platform accountability.
Tanya coordinates a network of over 100+ organisations in the EU called āPeople vs Big Techā, which campaigns for stronger laws and enforcement to address the harms linked to the dominance of Big Tech. She is a Senior Fellow at Foxglove, where she is suing Facebook to challenge its harmful model of surveillance advertising. She also works as a consultant to a wide range of NGOs and philanthropic organisations in Europe. Formerly, Tanya co-founded and directed Amnesty Tech, a global technology and human rights programme at Amnesty International.
