In this closing talk, Eli Pariser, author of ā€˜The Filter Bubble’ and cofounder of New_ Public, will explain why he believes the future of democracy will be invented in digital spaces and through the leadership of ā€˜community stewards’. He will discuss how this belief informs the work of New_Public and its Community Lab.

About the speaker:
Eli Pariser, author of the bestseller 'The Filter Bubble', is a global authority on digital ethics and online filter bubbles. Pariser aims to put technology and media at the service of democracy. He is currently co-director of New_ Public, a non-profit organisation dedicated to building thriving digital public spaces.
