In this workshop, we will develop new words where existing language about data and AI is no longer adequate. Are today's cameras still cameras, or really just data sensors? And might we better call online ads data profilers? After all, the online ads we see are based on the data profiles that data traders create about us.
In the workshop, we put our data imagination to work. Developing an alternative language makes us more aware of how fundamentally data, AI, and algorithms are changing our digital lives and what we can do about it. Thus, together we take another step in regaining control of our data and our digital lives.
