Anna Mazgal

Anna Mazgal is executive director at Wikimedia Europe, a common platform of the Wikimedia organisations in Europe, and part of the worldwide Wikimedia Movement. Based in Belgium and previously in Poland, Anna is a digital rights advocate, specialising in freedom of expression and access to information. Having supported the establishment of two international civil society networks, and formerly a grantmaker at Trust for Civil Society for Central and Eastern Europe, she has extensive experience in change management and strategising for impact. Anna has served as an advisor to a number of organisations and social initiatives with focus on changemaking, policy impact and equity.
