Claudio Cesarano

Claudio Cesarano is Senior Program Manager at Civitates, where he leads strategic development and grantmaking for the Tech and Democracy subfund that is focused on tech regulation and improving online public discourse. Before Civitates, Cesarano was part of the Tech and Society team of Open Society - Europe and Central Asia working on disinformation and platform regulation.

He has worked in several NGOs (Access Info Europe, Diritto Di Sapere, ALTER-EU) on freedom of information, lobby transparency and corporate influence on decision making. He has further supported the Italian Government on the development of the 3rd National Action Plan on open government.
