Julia Janssen is an artist, researcher & digital/human rights advocate. She is known for her thought-provoking art installations and performative experiences. In her work, she takes people behind the surface of apps and platforms, raising awareness for pressing topics like equality, autonomy, and democracy. Janssen is the ambassador for the Data Protection Foundation in class action lawsuits against X, Adobe, and Amazon. And she hosted the talk show Data Morgana, an initiative by Public Spaces. Throughout her practice, Janssen creates awareness and movement towards radically reshaping the way the industry uses data and our relationship with AI.
