Konrad Bleyer-Simon

Konrad Bleyer-Simon is a Research Associate at the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom (European University Institute), a researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and works on the Policy Analysis and Research task of the European Digital Media Observatory. He is involved in EDMO’s work on structural indicators to assess the impact of the Code of Conduct on Disinformation and chairs the EDMO Hubs Policy and Analysis Working Group. He holds a doctoral degree from the Freie Universität Berlin and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. His research focuses on platform regulation, disinformation and news media viability.
