Masuma Shahid is assistant professor of international and EU law at Erasmus School of Law, specialising in AI, queer data, and LGBTIQ+ rights. She is also co-coordinator of the LGBTIQ+ working group of the Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Law (BCCE) and author of 'Queering Courts' (Boom 2026) and 'Europees recht begrepen' (Boom, 2nd edition, 2026). Shahid is regularly invited as a speaker both nationally and internationally in the field of LGBTIQ+ rights.
