Oumaima Hajri
Junior Researcher Responsible Applied AI, Hogeschool Rotterdam
Oumaima Hajri (graduated data scientist and political scientist) is Junior Researcher Responsible Applied AI, at the Knowledge Center Creating 010 at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. Her work focuses on the intersection of AI and ethics, and for the "Designing Responsible AI Media Applications" project, among others, she is doing research on how media organizations can apply AI applications in an ethical and responsible way. Furthermore, she is currently studying the MSt in AI Ethics & Society at the University of Cambridge and is mainly engaged in "The Hidden Costs of AI" in which she investigates what justice, climate and racism have to do with AI. She earned an MSc in Data Science & Society from Tilburg University in 2021 and a BSc International Relations from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2019.
