Mariangela Lavanga

Mariangela Lavanga is Associate Professor (with ius promovendi) of Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is the co-founder and academic coordinator of the Minor Fashion Industry and the Master Fashion Transition, former academic coordinator of the world renown MA in Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship. She researches and lectures on cultural and creative industries and sustainable urban development, engaging and pushing for more transdisciplinary and transformative academic practices. She is currently PI in the Horizon Europe project FABRIX where she focuses on the sustainability transition in the fashion and textiles ecosystem at the local level.
